Global Head of Fund Services Product Development

Role Overview: As the Head of Fund Services Product Development within the Custody, Digital and Fund Services Product organization, you will play a crucial role in executing the business strategy and leading the Fund Services product roadmap. You will be at the forefront of a transformational period for State Street's product organization, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of a multi-year complex program of change. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Fund Services Product Executives to define the business strategy and necessary investments, participating in the annual State Street strategy review with senior executives. - Identify product gaps, develop plans to address them, and assess their impact on client satisfaction, competitive positioning, and strategic objectives. - Develop and manage the product development roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Oversee the demand management process for prioritizing investment spend on an annual and 3-year rolling basis. - Partner with Technology and Global Delivery teams to drive change, considering the impact on the operating model and technology architecture. - Enhance the client experience by iteratively improving product features and functionalities, working closely with sales and relationship management teams to address complex client needs. - Manage the annual budget allocation for the product, making informed assessments on program execution feasibility and resource requirements. - Establish effective stakeholder management processes and lead governance activities for the product development function, including Executive Steering Committees. - Lead the data integration transition onto State Street's strategic data platform. - Foster a collaborative relationship with the head of Custody, Data and Digital Product Development, creating joint staffing plans and staff deployment models for the future organization. Qualifications: - In-depth expertise in Fund Services products such as Fund Accounting, Administration, Transfer Agency, ETF Servicing, Tax, and Fund reporting services. - Proven experience in driving change in complex environments and managing competing priorities effectively. - Strong data management skills with modern techniques. - Proficiency in budgeting and finance. - Track record of project delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Experience in engaging with complex clients, designing operating models, and translating requirements into platform capabilities. - Excellent stakeholder management abilities to navigate the organization through solution delivery cycles. - Demonstrated success in addressing data integration challenges across extensive product portfolios. Additional Details: - Seasoned SVP with over 15 years of experience in Securities Services. - Previous roles in Product organizations. - Global operational experience. - Background in Operations and/or technology. - Consultative experience with institutional investors. - Strong leadership and team management skills.
