In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• F IELD S ERVICES :
• FormationofOvationstructure / Architecture
• Ovationsystemloadingandre-loadingatsiteandnetworktroubleshooting.
• Locate,differentiate,andanalyzetheproblemsarisingindesignoflogic.
• Locate,differentiate,andanalyzetheproblemsarisingfromfield,hardwareerrorsandDCS.
• Perform and Maintainprotocolsforloopcheck,devicecheckandpanelcharging.
• Loop and device checking and necessary modifications in the logics, graphics, and database as
  

• DCSerectionsupervisionandcommissioningatsite
• Establish DCS Network and configuration.
• WorkcloselywithGECandglobalEmersonsupportteam fortroubleshooting.
• TroubleshootingofDCS HW (e.g.Controllers,I/OModules, DBS,OWS,EWSetc.)
• Configuration/troubleshootingofHistorian,AMSandAdvanceAlgorithms
• Performthirdpartycommunicatione.g.ELC,SLC, Profi bus, SCADA&OPCetc.
• Excellent knowledge on Power Plant Technology (Thermal, Combined Cycle)
• Exposure on Closed Loop Tuning in Thermal Power Plant
• A DDITIONAL R ESPONSIBILITIES
• Leadsite activities independently,ifrequired
• Participation in meetings with customer and front offices
• Prepare daily / weekly reports and MOM as required.
• P ROJECT E NGINEERING :
• Design/ImplementationofcontrolsfromSAMA/Functionaldiagrams.
• Implementationofgraphicsfromsketches/snapshots
• Creation/modificationofOvationInternalPointDatabase
• ImplementationofSimulationlogicsforFirst-PassTest
• Virtualcontrollersetupfortestingpurpose
• Testingofimplementedcontrolsandgraphics&troubleshootingwhiletesting.
• FollowDepartmentQualityprocesses andprocedures.
• Scalingof Openloops& closed loopsasperthe rangesin theHWdatabase
• Usevarious Productivity tools such as DBID tool, Audit Tool, Database Productivity Tool, etc.
• ConversionofcontrolsandgraphicsofThirdPartyDCS/PLCsystemsto Ovation
• ThirdPartyCommunication
• SupportFactoryAcceptanceTest(FAT)activities!
• In-houseOvationServer/Workstationloading
• Upgrade versionsofovationsystems

For This Role, You Will Need:

• 4 years bachelor’s degree / Master’s Degree in ECE, EEE, I&C, E&I.
• Proven experience of 2 to 5 years of in Power Plant process, project engineering and commissioning.
