Role & responsibilities

At MGT youll be part of our Center of Excellence (CoE) in the Social Impact Consulting

Group. The CoE provides training on core consulting skills, exposure to a diverse set of

projects, and mentorship. As a Global Analyst, you will support MGTs growing portfolio of

advisory and research engagements by conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing

insights that help public sector clients and internal teams make informed decisions. The

ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills,

along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

  • Conduct research and quantitative/qualitative analysis to generate actionable

insights for internal and client projects.

  • Develop and deliver written reports, presentations, and other materials tailored to

diverse audiences, including executives and technical stakeholders.

  • Manage project work plans, track milestones, and ensure timely follow-up on action

items.

  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities in addressing

client and team challenges.

  • Engage with team members and stakeholders using strong communication and

interpersonal skills.

  • Build a deep understanding of client and partner needs, issues, and contexts to

inform analysis and recommendations.

  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support data analysis,

reporting, and project deliverables.

  • Support the development of meeting agendas, materials, and summaries to

facilitate decision-making and knowledge sharing.

  • Assist in the creation of structured knowledge assets, such as databases,

benchmarks, and playbooks.

  • Collaborate across practices and service lines to strengthen MGT’s research and

advisory capabilities.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Three (3) or more years of professional experience in research, data analysis,

consulting, or related fields.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in structuring and interpreting complex data

sets.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present

findings clearly to diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage

multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills in professional or academic

settings.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools

(Sheets, Docs, Slides).
