GIS/CAD Technician

The main tasks to be handled includes data conversion and integration from various sources, data analysis, mapping, data quality assurance and control of drawings and information related to engineering/planning projects.

GIS Skill Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in GIS, computer science, surveying, or related field.
• Min. 5 years of experience in GIS of similar role
• Experience of working with GIS software, including ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap), and ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience in CAD software including Autodesk Civil 3D
• Analytical capabilities
• Good communication and writing skills

CAD drafting skills:

• Has worked on water supply, sewage and storm drainage network plan and profile/L section drafting works
• Has good understanding in preparation of typical details of manholes, chambers, channels, culverts, etc…
• Experience in CAD software including Autodesk Civil 3D

Preferred Skills:

• Masters degree in one of the above mentioned fields
• Basic GIS programming skills (e.g. Python,..)
• Experience in BIM data integration with GIS
• Experience in Lidar / point clouds survey data processing
• Experience in remote sensing and imagery manipulation
• Played a similar role in an AEC firm
