Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage and analyze spatial data using GIS tools, primarily ArcGIS. \
Digitize and structure infrastructure layers including roads, utilities, and land use based on standardized templates.
Integrate GIS data with AutoCAD and Revit drawings and other engineering datasets.
Knowledge of ArcGIS Server and IT/Cloud related setup required for publishing and deploying GIS platforms.
Collaborate with planning, engineering, and AutoCAD teams to ensure spatial accuracy and consistency.
Support spatial analysis for decision-making and project planning under the Gati Shakti framework.
Maintain organized GIS databases and metadata documentation.
Assist in quality control and validation of GIS datasets received from consultants or field teams.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
Proficient in ArcGIS; working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
Strong understanding of spatial data formats, projections, and geodatabase management.
Experience in infrastructure mapping: roads, utilities, water, sewerage, etc.
Familiarity with GPS data integration and remote sensing basics.
Ability to work with large datasets and maintain data integrity.
