GIS Analyst

Garudalytics invites passionate GIS Analysts .

We are seeking local candidates (preferred) with strong expertise in geospatial data processing and mapping.

Important Requirement:

• Immediate joiners preferred

• Maximum notice period: 10 days

• Candidates must be able to join before 1st October 2025

Roles & Responsibilities: • Extract and digitize 2D features from high-resolution satellite imagery. •

Create & update GIS layers (roads, buildings, LULC, water bodies, infrastructure). • Manage GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and quality control.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on diverse geospatial projects. • Generate maps, reports, and metadata for project delivery.

Required Skills: • Proficiency in QGIS (mandatory); knowledge of ArcGIS is an added advantage.

• Experience in digitization, spatial analysis & georeferencing of large datasets. • Knowledge of satellite imagery interpretation and thematic mapping. • Familiarity with QC standards & GIS data management best practices.

• Strong understanding of coordinate systems and projections.

Qualification: Diploma / Graduate / Postgraduate in Geography, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related fields.

Experience: • Minimum 2 years professional experience in GIS. • Experience in urban geospatial projects / master planning is preferred

Pay: ₹13,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
