We are Hiring! #Job Title: Geospatial Data Scientist Garudalytics seeking a talented and motivated Geospatial Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in GIS and remote sensing, coupled with hands-on experience in processing and analysing geospatial data. You will leverage your expertise in Python and various GIS tools to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: -Develop and deploy machine learning and deep learning models. - Design and implement NLP solutions. - Analyze complex data sets to inform business decisions. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams. -Mentor junior team members. -Analyse and interpret geospatial data from multiple sources, including satellite imagery and GIS datasets. -Develop and implement algorithms for data processing, analysis, and visualization using Python. -Utilize ArcGIS and QGIS for spatial analysis and mapping. -Generate APIs to fetch and manage geospatial data efficiently. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial analysis into broader projects. -Conduct research and apply best practices in remote sensing and geospatial analysis. -Present findings and insights to stakeholders through reports and visualizations. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in Geoinformatics or GIS Experience: -Minimum 2 years of experience in geospatial data analysis or related field. Hands-on experience with Python for geospatial data manipulation and analysis. -Proficiency in ArcGIS and QGIS. -Familiarity with API development and data fetching. Skills: -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. -Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning techniques applied to geospatial data.
