Job summary The GeoSpatial Sr. Developer Java role requires a seasoned professional with 7 to 9 years of experience in Spring Boot and Microservices. The candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on developing and optimizing geospatial applications. This position does not require travel and operates during day shifts ensuring a balanced work-life environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java and Spring Boot technologies to enhance data processing capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable microservices architecture that supports geospatial data integration. Implement robust and efficient code solutions to ensure high performance and reliability of geospatial applications. Conduct thorough testing and debugging processes to identify and resolve application issues promptly. Optimize application performance by analyzing system bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers to foster skill development and project success. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development and geospatial data handling. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the development team. Utilize agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively. Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in geospatial development. Contribute to the companys mission by developing innovative solutions that impact society positively. Maintain clear documentation of application processes and updates for future reference and team collaboration. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Qualifications Possess extensive experience in Java development particularly with Spring Boot and Microservices. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Have a solid understanding of geospatial data and its applications in various industries. Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
