Geography & English Teacher – Class VII to XII (ICSE/ISC & CBSE Boards) Looking for a qualified and passionate teacher to teach Geography and English to students of Classes VII to XII, covering the ICSE, ISC, and CBSE syllabi. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and a student-centered approach. Geography: Class VII to XII – ICSE / ISC / CBSE English (Language & Literature): Class VII to XII – ICSE / ISC / CBSE 1. Curriculum & Lesson PlanningDeliver engaging and comprehensive lessons for both Geography and English. Plan and design creative lesson plans aligned with ICSE/ISC/CBSE curriculum. Use interactive teaching aids (maps, digital tools, models, literature extracts) to enhance subject delivery. 2. Subject-Specific DutiesGeography: Teach physical, human, economic, and environmental geography; guide students in map work, case studies, and projects. English: Teach grammar, writing skills, comprehension, prose, poetry, and drama; train students in essay writing, précis, letter writing, and literary appreciation. 3. Board Exam PreparationFocus on syllabus completion with regular revisions, mock tests, and answer-writing practice. Solve previous years' question papers, and conduct doubt-clearing sessions for Classes X & XII. 4. Evaluation & AssessmentConduct periodic tests and assignments. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Maintain accurate academic records and report student progress. 5. Student Engagement & MentorshipFoster reading habits, analytical skills, and creativity. Encourage students to participate in elocutions, debates, quizzes, geography exhibitions, and writing competitions. 6. Classroom & Behavior ManagementMaintain discipline and a positive learning atmosphere. Cater to individual learning needs and provide academic support. 7. Parent CommunicationConduct regular PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings). Share academic updates and address student concerns proactively. 8. Professional DevelopmentStay updated with curriculum changes. Attend internal training sessions, workshops, and teacher development programs. ✅ Qualifications & Skills Required:Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Geography / English or related subjects. B.Ed. degree or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred). 2–5 years of teaching experience (preferred). Strong command over spoken and written English. Knowledge of ICSE, ISC & CBSE board patterns and marking schemes. Familiarity with digital platforms like Google Classroom, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.
