About the Role

General Manager-Recruitment

executive search, stakeholder management, and recruitment strategy

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership Hiring (Domestic + International):

    Drive end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership roles across business units and geographies.
  • Strategy & Execution:

    Design and implement best-in-class hiring strategies to attract top-tier leadership talent aligned with Masters’ Union’s mission and growth.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    Partner closely with Founders, CXOs, and business leaders to understand talent requirements and build strong pipelines.
  • Team Management:

    Lead and mentor a small team (1–2 recruiters) while remaining hands-on in execution.
  • Talent Market Insights:

    Provide market intelligence, benchmarking, and talent mapping for niche/strategic roles.
  • Employer Branding:

    Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen Masters’ Union’s positioning as an employer of choice.
  • Process Excellence:

    Continuously improve recruitment processes, ensuring agility, efficiency, and a premium candidate experience.
  • Partner Management:

    Manage relationships with executive search firms, recruitment agencies, and other external partners.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA/PGDM from a Tier 1/2 institute with

    8+ years

    of post-MBA experience in recruitment OR

    10+ years

    of post-MBA experience.
  • Proven track record in

    leadership/executive hiring

    (domestic and international).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust with senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of

    talent mapping, sourcing strategies, and recruitment operations

    for leadership roles.
  • Hands-on, execution-focused leader with the ability to balance

    strategy and delivery

    .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working directly with

    CXOs/Founders/Board-level stakeholders

    is highly desirable.
