General Manager Quality (Garments)

As the General Manager Quality of the garment export unit, you will be responsible for ensuring that the products meet and exceed the expectations of the clients. You will lead a team of quality control professionals and implement strategies to maintain and improve the quality of the garments throughout the production process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure consistent product quality. - Oversee all aspects of quality control, including inspection of raw materials, in-process inspections, and final product evaluations. - Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards and specifications for raw materials and components. - Continuously evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency. - Provide leadership and guidance to the quality control team, including training, coaching, and performance management. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to product quality and safety. - Work closely with the production and sales teams to address any quality-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction. - Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. - Identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the production process to minimize defects and rework. **Qualification Required:** - Proven experience in quality management within the garment industry, preferably in an export-oriented manufacturing environment. - In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrication techniques, and quality control methodologies. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
