About the Role
We are seeking a bright, motivated, and entrepreneurial marketing leader to head the marketing function for a leading renewable energy manufacturing company. The role will involve developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to position the company as a category leader across domestic and global markets.You will work closely with Sales, Strategy, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to build the brand, drive demand generation, and grow market share in the solar manufacturing ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing & PlanningDevelop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business and sustainability goalsManage annual marketing budget with clear ROI metricsConduct market segmentation and identify opportunities across utility, commercial, and residential solar segmentsBrand & Corporate CommunicationDrive brand visibility and positioning as a trusted solar technology providerManage PR, media relations, internal communication, and stakeholder messagingBuild a strong content marketing engine with white papers, case studies, and thought leadershipProduct & Technical MarketingCollaborate with product and engineering teams on GTM strategiesDrive compelling product positioning and messagingMonitor competitor activity and analyze customer insightsDigital Marketing & Lead GenerationLead digital strategy including SEO/SEM, CRM, automation, and performance marketingBuild integrated campaigns to support the sales pipeline (B2B focus)Enhance website engagement, social media presence, and email marketing effectivenessTrade Shows, Events & PartnershipsRepresent the brand at key industry events and exhibitions (India and abroad)Build partnerships with EPCs, distributors, government agencies, and ecosystem playersLeadership & Team DevelopmentBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing teamPromote cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, R&D, and OperationsDesired ProfileMasters degree in Marketing or Business from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution
10-15 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a marketing leadership role
Strong exposure to manufacturing, renewable energy, solar, or clean-tech sectors
Demonstrated success in brand strategy, digital marketing, product positioning, and CRM
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and team leadership skills
