General Manager

You will be responsible for managing the timely commission of Green Field Project & manufacturing of Pharma Intermediates & APIs Products, ensuring quality & regulatory compliance. You will oversee the plant operations, leading a team of functional managers and plant operators. Your primary focus will be on planning, organizing, and directing manufacturing operations to achieve optimal return on assets employed. Key Responsibilities: - Manage plant operations of Pharma Intermediates & APIs Products - Lead a team of functional managers and plant operators - Ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the manufacturing and distribution facility - Plan, organize and direct manufacturing operations, maintenance, and logistics - Ensure productivity, quality, cost, service, and safety targets are met - Develop and maintain operational procedures - Establish and enforce plant policies and procedures - Maintain a safe, clean, and reliable plant - Review, analyze, plan, coordinate, and lead all manufacturing activities - Develop systems and programs to promote cost-effective operations - Support quality control initiatives and production schedules - Accountable for product quality control - Establish training and development programs for plant personnel You will be accountable for the timely commissioning of the project, smooth operation of the plant with the desired level of quality, and optimizing production and productivity of equipment, machinery, and human resources. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in plant operations management in the pharmaceutical industry - Strong leadership and team management skills - Knowledge of regulatory affairs and quality standards - Excellent communication and organizational abilities The job location for this position is Vapi, Gujarat.,
