General Manager - IT

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and ensure adoption of emerging technologies.
  
• Establish IT policies, governance, and best practices across the organization.
  

Technology & Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
  
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT services.
  
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve business processes.
  

Cybersecurity & Compliance:

• Develop and enforce robust IT security policies to safeguard data and systems.
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and IT standards.
  
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning.
  

Operational Excellence:

• Manage IT operations, application development, and support functions.
  
• Ensure timely delivery of IT services to internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and drive continuous improvement in IT service management.
  

Team Leadership & Vendor Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to build a high-performance culture.
  
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations to optimize cost and efficiency.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  
• Proven expertise in IT strategy, digital transformation, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity.
  
• Strong understanding of ERP, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and IT governance frameworks.
  
• Experience in managing IT budgets, contracts, and vendor partnerships
