General Manager – Civil Engineering (Township Project)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager – Civil Engineering to lead the execution of a large-scale township development project in Malappuram, Kerala. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction, infrastructure development, and team leadership within township or large-scale residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the township project in accordance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
• Lead project teams, supervise site engineers, and ensure adherence to safety, design, and compliance requirements within fixed timelines.
• Monitor project costs, prepare progress reports, and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure proper execution of civil, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works.
• Liaise and negotiate with vendors for procurement and supply chain for timely material delivery.
• Maintain strong stakeholder communication and client coordination.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 15–20 years of experience in real estate/township/large residential and commercial projects.
• Proven experience managing township projects or similar large-scale developments.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of construction codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.

• Real estate developers, infrastructure firms, or construction companies with township/project experience.
