Role Overview

General Manager (or Deputy General Manager / Assistant General Manager)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of construction projects.
• Interpret and manage architectural and structural drawings.
• Supervise and coordinate site engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure project timelines, quality standards, and budget adherence.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other tools to review and validate construction drawings.
• Communicate effectively with architects, consultants, and clients.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and safety protocols on site.
• Provide strategic direction and mentorship to site-level project managers.

Qualifications

• Education:

  B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

• Experience:

  18–20 years in construction project management.
• Proven experience as a

  Project Manager

  in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, AutoCAD, and engineering software.
• Knowledge of local regulations and construction norms in

  Kochi

  and surrounding areas.
• Familiarity with vendor networks, labor laws, and approval processes in Kerala.
