Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage and lead a team of 120-150 members involved in custody operations verticals, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with custody operations, implementing robust risk management strategies and processes.
Develop and implement effective escalation management procedures to address and resolve operational issues promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI and its applications in capital markets, and explore opportunities to leverage AI for process optimization and innovation.
Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure adherence to operational standards and targets.
Effective resource management and Robust succession planning.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing best practices.
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes related to capital market operations.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate or Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
17 to 20 years of relevant experience in custody operations and capital markets.
Ability to identify root cause of problem by deep diving in issues\incidents and present it appropriately to senior management
Solution driven positive attitude
Ability to handle work pressure and skillfully manage demanding and aggressive clients.
Highly motivated and self-driven person.
