Job Description

General Manager - Banking & Finance

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives to ensure effective capital and working capital management.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to support decision-making and business expansion.
Manage cash flow projections, funding requirements, and investment decisions to optimize financial performance.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors to secure project funding.
Ensure full compliance with RBI guidelines, financial regulations, and corporate governance standards.
Assess financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and provide insights for strategic planning.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to strengthen financial planning and capital allocation.
Oversee regulatory audits and reporting requirements while ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial operations.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of project finance and corporate finance
Expertise in financial risk management, funding strategy, and investment planning
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven relationship management experience with lenders, banks, and investors
Deep knowledge of RBI guidelines, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
22 - 24 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, preferably within infrastructure or large-scale project-based organizations.
