Job Description:

General Ledger Accounting professional

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform General Ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities within defined timelines
• Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and SOX requirements
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
• Analyze financial variances and provide insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and process improvements
• (For senior grades) Lead teams, review work, mentor junior staff, and drive process excellence

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in General Ledger / Record to Report (R2R)
• Hands-on knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
