! About the Role

: What You’ll Do

• 🛠️ Test various general insurance modules (policy issuance, claims, renewals, endorsement
• 📝 Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on BRD/FSD documentation
• 🐞 Track and document defects; collaborate closely with developers and business analysts for resolution
• ✅ Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practice

Responsibilities

• Test various general insurance modules (policy issuance, claims, renewals, endorsement
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on BRD/FSD document
• Track and document defects; collaborate closely with developers and business analysts for resolution
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practice

• Experience: 1-5 years in software testing, with at least 1 year in General Insurance (Health, Motor, Travel, Property, etc

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SQL for query writing and experience with test management tools (Quality Center, JIRA, Bugzilla
• Deep understanding of general insurance workflows, including claims processing, policy servicing, and underwriting

Preferred Skills

🎓 ISTQB Certification is an advantage

🛠️ Hands-on experience with insurance applications like GENISYS Configurator, TCS Bancs
