General Cashier

As a team member at Marriott International, you will be responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, upholding confidentiality of proprietary information, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Your role will involve addressing guests" service needs in a courteous and efficient manner, communicating effectively with others using clear and professional language, and handling written documents accurately. Additionally, you will be expected to handle telephone calls and emails with proper etiquette. In this position, you will be required to engage in physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Building positive relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and addressing the concerns of fellow employees will be vital aspects of your role. Flexibility to perform other job duties as assigned by supervisors is also key to success in this position. Preferred qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, along with at least 1 year of related work experience. While supervisory experience is not required, possessing relevant licenses or certifications is also not mandatory.
