GEM Tender Specialist

We are looking for an experienced GEM Tender Executive with in-depth knowledge of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal and tendering process . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing end-to-end bidding processes and government procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. GeM Portal Management

● Manage and update company profile on the GeM portal.

●Create, update, and maintain product/service catalogues.

●Monitor notifications, bids, and reverse auctions regularly.

●Make L1 as per requirement2. Bid & RA Participation

●Search, evaluate, and participate in relevant bids and reverse auctions

.●Prepare technical and financial quotes as per bid requirements.

●Track bid status and ensure timely submission of documents.

3. Procurement & Order Processing

●Coordinate with buyers for clarifications and order-related queries.

●Process received orders, upload necessary documents, and ensure on-time dispatch.

●Handle CRAC, invoice generation, and payment follow-up through the GeM portal.

4. Documentation & Compliance

●Maintain all bid-related documents, certificates, and price justifications.

●Ensure compliance with GeM rules, policies, and government guidelines.

●Assist in product approvals, OEM authorizations, and category mapping.

5. Coordination & Communication

●Work closely with sales, logistics and product teams.●

Communicate with government departments regarding specifications, deliveries, and grievances

.●Respond to GeM queries and issue resolutions.---Required Skills & Qualifications

●1–3 years of experience in GeM operations or government procurement (preferred).

●Strong knowledge of GeM portal functionalities, rules, and workflows.

●Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
