GCR-US FSO BTC-RE-Tax Senior

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in US and/or Non-US direct tax compliance, with a strong background in income tax accounting. ### Roles and Responsibility Develop a brief understanding of day-to-day activities and transactions related to tax and tax accounting matters. Assist in preparing income tax returns and workpapers for foreign jurisdictions with internal teams or EY country teams. Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions for US GAAP purposes, collaborating with EY country teams for sign-off and delivery to clients. Manage and assist in preparing annual statutory tax provisions as per local GAAP with EY country teams, compiling data and preparing workpapers as needed. Forecast and manage cash taxes by jurisdiction, reporting monthly or quarterly to clients, and consult with EY country teams when necessary. Prepare and review estimated and extension tax payments, managing the tax payment process and working with EY country teams as needed. Reconcile tax accounts, prepare and review balance sheet tax account reconciliations, collect supporting documents, and collaborate with clients on reconciling items. Perform other tax functions, including preparing and reviewing journal entry packages and return to provision entries, and submitting them for client approval. ### Job Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or MBA Finance. 3-5 years of experience in US and/or Non-US direct tax compliance, with knowledge and experience in income tax accounting (1120, 1065, ASC 740, and FIN48). Strong accounting skills and interest in learning US and Non-US direct tax compliance. Excellent communication and computer skills, including intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in ambiguous situations and articulate complex challenges. Strong interpersonal skills focused on building high-functioning teams and influencing processes. Demonstrated commitment and optimism towards work challenges, contributing to a positive team environment.
