Job Description

Job Title:

Location: Pune

Shift: First 3 months US hours, then standard India hours

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and manage GCP infrastructure in large enterprise environments involving virtualization, containerization and hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
Architect and optimize Google Cloud networking solutions including VPC design, routing, VPC peering vs NCC, Cloud Router, BGP, VPN and Interconnect.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager for consistent and automated resource provisioning.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or Flux to support automated testing, provisioning and deployments.
Manage container platforms using Kubernetes and OpenShift, and work with VMware for traditional virtualization environments.
Develop automation and scripting solutions using Bash, Python or PowerShell.
Work closely with the AWS Cloud Engineering team to maintain alignment on standards, processes, shift expectations and delivery models.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with GCP Infrastructure, IaaS, serverless, API gateways and container orchestration tools.
Expertise in GCP networking technologies: VPCs, Cloud Router, BGP, VPN/Interconnect, routing policies, NCC.
Deep experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm or Kustomize.
Solid scripting capability in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Strong background in Kubernetes, OpenShift and VMware.
Similar experience and seniority level to the AWS Cloud Engineers currently being hired for the same team.
