Garment Merchandiser

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Garment Merchandiser to manage the complete lifecycle of garment production, from development to final shipment. The ideal candidate will coordinate with buyers, suppliers, production teams, and quality assurance to ensure timely and cost-effective production of apparel while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between buyers and production units.
• Coordinate with suppliers for raw materials, trims, fabrics, and samples.
• Follow up on sampling, approvals, order placements, and production timelines.
• Prepare costing sheets and negotiate pricing with vendors and clients.
• Monitor production progress to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Work closely with quality control teams to ensure product standards are met.
• Maintain records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to fabric, trims, or production delays.
• Communicate daily with buyers for updates and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and international standards.
• Support product development and seasonal line planning.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis when needed
