Garment Merchandiser

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Development Garment Merchandiser who can manage client requirements end-to-end and coordinate with the production team. The role requires strong merchandising skills along with the ability to develop new business opportunities in the garment and apparel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for apparel brands and garment factories
• Understand client requirements for fabrics, trims, and deliveries
• Coordinate sampling, pricing, and production timelines with mills and vendors
• Manage client approvals (designs, fabrics, lab dips, strike-offs, etc.)
• Track orders, production schedules, and ensure on-time deliveries
• Build strong relationships with existing clients while exploring new business opportunities
• Work closely with the director and sales team for client presentations and follow-ups
• Maintain detailed documentation of client requirements, costing, and production status

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing and fabric sourcing
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (English & Hindi)
• Ability to handle multiple clients and production timelines simultaneously
• Good command of Excel, Email, and reporting formats
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle client escalations
• Prior experience in business development / merchandising for exports or domestic brands preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Graduate (Textiles / Fashion / Business preferred)
• 5–10 years of experience in merchandising & client management
• Experience in garment factories, buying houses, or textile exports is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
