GAOC Accountant
Shift Timings: 6PM to 3 AM
Treasury Accountant Key Responsibilities:
The Treasury Accountant plays a vital role in supporting the Global Treasury team across bank administration, treasury systems (Kyriba), payment processing, and intercompany loan management.
Core Responsibilities:
Bank Administration:
- Liaise directly with Qualcomms global banking partners to manage account openings and closures based on business requirements.
- Maintain accurate and current records of account mandates, authorized signatories, and banking documentation (KYC/AML) to ensure compliance and audit preparedness.
- Coordinate with Legal and Tax teams to facilitate bank account documentation and approvals.
Treasury Management System (Kyriba):
- Administer the Kyriba system by setting up new bank accounts, authorized signers, and intercompany loan accounts.
- Monitor daily bank statement reporting within Kyriba to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
Treasury Payments:
- Execute various treasury-related payments including intercompany funding, foreign exchange conversions, hedge settlements, share buybacks, mergers & acquisitions, and debt servicing through online banking portals.
Intercompany and Investment Operations:
- Collaborate with satellite offices to manage short-term investments, redemptions, internal cash transfers, and FX transactions.
Cross-Functional Support:
- Provide transaction-related assistance to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll teams.
Process Improvement & Automation:
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing automation and streamlining treasury operations.
Audit Support:
- Assist with internal and external audits by supplying relevant documentation and clarifications.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MBA with 3+ years of experience in Treasury operations
- Experience with Global banking portals Cashpro, JPM Access, HSBCnet and CITI Direct
- Knowledge of appropriate accounting ERPs ( Oracle & SAP )
- High level of analytical skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree. 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Masters = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
