Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Game Programmer Intern specializing in Unreal or Unity. The intern will collaborate with the development team to design and implement gameplay mechanics, features, and functionalities using industry-standard game engines. Responsibilities include working with programming languages, debugging code, optimizing game performance, and maintaining clean, reusable code. The intern will gain hands-on experience in creating innovative gaming solutions while contributing to cutting-edge projects at Akiyam Solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and experience in Game Programming and Game Development.
• Knowledge of programming fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Computer Science concepts.
• Experience or familiarity with Unreal Engine and/or Unity game engines.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with graphics programming, AI systems, or multiplayer game programming is a plus.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
