Game Designer – Kids Learning Games (1+ Years Experience)

Location: Pune, India Company: Midknightstudio Private Limited Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year Availability: Immediate Joiner Preferred We’re looking for a junior to mid-level Game Designer with a flair for designing fun, engaging, and educational games for young children (ages 3–10) . This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a creative team building the next generation of kids learning games that combine play with purpose. 🎯 Responsibilities: Design levels, activities, and mini-games that make learning exciting and intuitive. Translate learning objectives into interactive, child-friendly gameplay. Develop basic Game Design Documents (GDDs), user flow charts, and concept notes. Work closely with Unity developers, artists, and educators to bring ideas to life. Test and iterate on gameplay to ensure age-appropriate difficulty, engagement, and clarity. Suggest improvements in UX/UI specifically for early learners. 🛠️ Required Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience designing mobile or web-based games (preferably for kids). Understanding of early childhood learning patterns and game-based learning principles. Strong grasp of game mechanics, progression systems, and interactive storytelling . Ability to create clear GDDs, mockups, and level design layouts. Excellent communication and collaborative skills. 🌟 Nice to Have: Prior work on AR games or interactive story-based educational apps.
