Furniture Designer

You are an experienced Furniture Designer specializing in modular furniture, responsible for designing, creating technical drawings, and overseeing execution from concept to completion. Your expertise in AutoCAD, 2D & 3D design, furniture measurements, material selection, and cost estimation will be crucial in this role. Interaction with clients for design approvals and site measurements is a plus. Your key responsibilities will include creating innovative modular furniture designs, developing detailed AutoCAD drawings and 3D models, ensuring designs are optimized for production, conducting on-site measurements, engaging with clients, preparing cost estimates, coordinating with the factory team, overseeing project execution, and ensuring quality standards are met. You must possess a Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field with 3-7 years of experience in the Modular Furniture Industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, 2D drafting, 3D modeling software, knowledge of materials, cost estimation skills, and good client-handling abilities are essential. Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines are also required. Experience in a modular furniture factory or manufacturing unit, as well as understanding ERP systems for cost estimation and order tracking, are preferred qualifications. The salary will be based on experience and industry standards, with an immediate joining date or as per notice period. This is a full-time position with health insurance, paid sick time, and day shift schedule. Performance bonus may be applicable based on project outcomes.
