Fundraising Associate - Retail & Crowdfunding

About the Role:

As a Fundraising Associate, you will manage and grow the retail giving and crowdfunding portfolio by engaging individual donors, coordinating campaigns, and ensuring strong donor relationships through accurate reporting and impactful communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Crowdfunding Fundraising

• Onboard and assist individual donors in setting up fundraising campaigns for Cuddles (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries).
• Provide end-to-end support and troubleshoot issues with the crowdfunding team.
• Send thank-you emails to campaign creators and contributors upon campaign completion.

Relationship Management with Crowdfunding Teams

• Build strong relationships with SPOCs across campaigns.
• Plan and manage participation in key crowdfunding campaigns like Daan Utsav, festive campaigns, and year-end giving.
• Prepare and submit timely reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) to crowdfunding stakeholders.
• Coordinate with accounts and crowdfunding teams to submit audited Fund Utilization Certificates (FUC).
• Maintain crowdfunding trackers, upload transaction reports, tag donations, and assist in reconciliation.
• Upload new campaigns, acknowledge donors, and update internal databases.

Monthly Donors, HNI Relationship Management, and DMS Events

• Work with Deputy Head - Fundraising to engage, retain, and increase donations from current donors.
• Manage The Giving Table community of monthly donors and onboard new members via digital and offline channels.
• Oversee maintenance of the Donor Management System (DMS).
• Support fundraising activities like event organization, hospital visits for donors, RSVP management, and coordinate escalations or senior meetings.

• Fundraising for International Donors

• Support non-Indian donors with fundraising setup, guidance, and communication throughout their campaign lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's preferred).
• 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, crowdfunding, or donor management.
• Experience with platforms like Give.do, Benevity, or Every.org is a plus.
