In this role as a Fund Accounting Manager at Alter Domus, you will manage 4-6 Associate Fund Accountants or Fund Accountants with the potential for growth. You will leverage your prior job experience to broaden your accounting, finance, and analytical skills. Your responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a team, training new employees, prioritizing work, administering, reporting, and understanding industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and mentor a team of Fund Accountants - Train new employees and provide direction - Help prioritize the work of others - Administer, report, review, and understand industry standards - Respond to auditor queries - Increase communication/interaction with clients and investors - Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports - Calculate and review various performance returns - Support and coordinate cash distributions - Review and interpret accounting records and financial statements - Ensure compliance with internal audit procedures - Develop leadership skills by leading projects and offering input - Review documents in compliance with client agreements Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field - 9+ years of professional experience in Private Credit Funds - In-depth understanding of investments within assigned fund(s) - Strong communication and analytical skills - Ability to prepare SOPs and identify process improvement opportunities - Hands-on experience with Cash Reconciliation and Expense Reimbursement - Ability to handle multiple projects, navigate challenges, and provide viable solutions Join Alter Domus, where you can advance your career in fund administration, corporate services, and more, while being part of a team that thrives on pushing boundaries and creating unparalleled solutions in the alternative finance industry.,
