Functional Consultant

As a Techno-Functional Analyst, your role involves working closely with both Finance and IT teams to ensure the right system support and reporting without constant dependence on IT. You must utilize your finance knowledge, IT technical expertise, and reporting skills to bridge the gap between the two teams effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Translate Finance requirements into technical inputs for IT and vice versa - Proficient in Power BI for creating dashboards, data modeling, DAX, and SQL - Comfortable in cross-functional teams and adaptable to new implementations - Conduct thorough impact analysis for proposed changes in SAP, Sage, and other finance solutions - Manage functional and technical testing, user acceptance testing, and documentation - Provide expert guidance on SAP and Sage finance modules and integration best practices - Coordinate project delivery, escalate issues, and ensure timely implementation - Offer support to end-users for troubleshooting, training, and process adoption - Ensure compliance with business processes, regulatory standards, and audit requirements - Participate in cross-functional meetings to advocate for effective solution delivery **Qualifications:** - Degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related fields - IT/technical background with at least 3-5 years of experience in cross-functional roles - Hands-on experience with ERP finance modules like SAP, SAGE, Oracle, etc. - Working knowledge of SQL - Previous experience in mid-sized companies handling end-to-end reporting - Knowledge of finance processes such as AP, AR, GL, ERP workflows, etc. - Track record in requirements gathering, process documentation, and translating functional needs into technical solutions - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams - Certification in SAP/Sage would be an advantage - Familiarity with Indian and/or US finance regulatory requirements is a plus This company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.,
