We're Hiring: Remote Full-Stack Engineer – EMS Project (6-Month Contract + Support)

Are you a full-stack developer who thrives in building and owning critical systems end to end?

Key Responsibilities

Own the
entire EMS system
lifecycle — design, development, deployment, and maintenance
Customize our existing EMS prototype (Flask, SQLite, Leaflet.js, Tailwind) to meet client requirements
Integrate GIS, SCADA-ready APIs, weather feeds, and vehicle tracking overlays
Implement real-time dashboards for water, sewer, flood, and alert tracking
Provide
L2/L3 technical support
during the post-launch 3-year maintenance phase
Collaborate with the project manager and client-side IT teams
Ensure secure deployment on AWS EC2 or client datacenter (to be finalized)

Tech Stack

Python (Flask)
SQLite / PostgreSQL
HTML, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS
Leaflet.js / GIS
AWS EC2, Linux, Systemd
REST APIs, SAML (Entra ID integration preferred)

Requirements

4+ years of experience in full-stack development (Python + Web stack)
Proven experience deploying secure apps on cloud (AWS preferred)
Experience integrating maps or GIS data (Leaflet.js/PostGIS ideal)
Comfort working independently and taking ownership of full delivery
Ability to provide extended support (part-time) after go-live

🧑‍💻 Bonus Points

Experience with public sector or utility clients
Exposure to SCADA systems or IoT sensor data integration
Familiarity with agile project delivery
