Full Stack Engineer

Title : Founding Full-stack Developer Experience: 5+ years Time: 3PM to 11PM Location: remote An early-stage AI startup building secure, intelligent tools to modernize how electronic components are analyzed, sourced, and managed - and we’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our founding team. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a product from scratch, shape the technical foundation, and play a key role in bringing real innovation to a massive, overlooked industry. What You’ll Do Build and scale our MVP end-to-end using Django (or make a strong case for another stack) Collaborate closely with the founder and product designer to translate customer needs into functional and elegant product experiences Implement clean, maintainable front-end interfaces (likely server-rendered in Django, with lightweight interactivity as needed) Make foundational decisions around architecture, data modeling, and long-term scalability Develop pipelines to clean, normalize, and enrich structured and unstructured data (PDFs, datasheets, scraped catalogs, etc.) Implement and optimize RAG pipelines, semantic search, and embedding-based retrieval Prioritize performance, security, and usability from day one Help create a strong engineering culture grounded in curiosity, ownership, and speed What We’re Looking For 5+ years of full-stack experience, ideally in early-stage startups or greenfield builds Strong experience with Django or similar backend frameworks Comfort building front-ends using Django templates and vanilla JS (we’re keeping it lean at first) Solid understanding of LLMs, embeddings, and RAG-based architectures Excellent communicator, fluent in English (spoken and written) High ownership mentality — you’re comfortable with ambiguity and moving fast Product-minded — you care about delivering value to users, not just shipping code Bonus Points If You Have Experience working with data-heavy applications or B2B products Familiarity with component data, supply chains, or electronics (not required) Experience integrating with AI/ML models or supporting chat-based interfaces You’ve built and launched MVPs as a solo or lead engineer Knowledge of vector databases (e.g. Weaviate, Pinecone, FAISS) Why Join Us?
