Role

Full-Stack Engineer (India · Remote,). Ship a tiny but real app that converts legal docs into reusable Markdown templates and drafts cases via a chat UX. (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1INp9p1DvkwHBoZanmEpfe7CNCfrdWIpF90qjnAoV8y8/edit?usp=sharing)

What you’ll build (take-home)

• Upload .docx/.pdf → auto-templatize with {{variables}} stored in DB
• Batch create 5 templates
• Chat: pick closest template from a user request, prefill, ask human-friendly questions, then generate final Markdown
• If no local match: (bonus) use exa.ai to fetch a similar doc, templatize, and continue
• Must use: Python (FastAPI), Next.js, Gemini API (free tier)

You

• Strong with Python/, Next.js, file parsing, simple DB design (SQLite/Postgres)
• Comfortable with LLM prompting and clean UX
