About the Role

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer Intern who is eager to contribute to building a product from the ground up. As part of this internship, you will work directly with the founder to strengthen the app, making it more robust, secure, and user-friendly for our first set of users.

This is a hands-on, learning-focused role where you will gain practical experience by testing workflows, fixing bugs, implementing new features, and applying security best practices. If you’re looking for an opportunity to learn by doing in a startup environment, this internship will give you exposure to both technical challenges and product development decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Test critical workflows (e.g., sign-up, login, content creation) to identify bugs and improve usability.
• Contribute to bug fixes and feature development across both frontend and backend.
• Follow secure coding practices, with guidance from resources like OWASP Top Ten.
• Assist in documenting processes, findings, and technical decisions for future reference.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and respond to user feedback from early testers.
• Learn and implement app security basics, particularly around authentication and data handling.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year university program with at least 60 credits completed.
• Familiarity with full stack development using React through projects, coursework, or internships.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a startup environment.

Bonus (nice-to-have):

• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Exposure to API integrations.
