Blue Power Partners is a global consultancy and project development company with a dedicated focus on developing renewable energy Our business is growing fast, and we are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with Geospatial knowledge situated in India to support our colleagues in Chennai and our teams worldwide To be successful in this role you value supporting your colleagues, enjoy ever-changing working days and take pride in solving both complex and simple tasks in Data analysis, Software development, System integration, Geospatial data development About The Job In this role, the Full stack developer Geospatial will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining geospatial application leveraging python and GIS technologies You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create user-friendly applications that support business decisions Responsibilities Be involved in the development life cycle and would be doing definition and feasibility analysis for SLCD (50% Front end applications, 50% API and database-based development) Develop and maintain geospatial applications using python environment Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed Developing geospatial or GIS applications along with databases would be preferred Develop and maintain GIS-based web applications using Python Design and implement interactive, dynamic GIS maps using libraries such as GeoPandas, Shapely, and Folium Integrate geospatial data with databases (eg PostgreSQL/PostGIS, MySQL, or MongoDB) and RESTful APIs Automate geospatial data processing workflows using Python libraries like ArcPy, Fiona, or PyQGIS Build responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue js Collaborate with data scientists and GIS analysts to productionize geospatial models and visualizations Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end data pipelines Stay up with the latest GIS and web development technologies and best practices Delivery quality results on time with minimal supervision Client-focused and capable of transforming requirements into product deliveries and subsequent refinement and development Develop and maintain Geospatial databases Pragmatic and hands-on approach to delivering prototypes and MVPs Strong IT and language skills, fluent in English as a minimum (oral and written) Qualification & Skillsets Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Geospatial engineering (related field) Experience with 5+ years in geospatial software development Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with Geospatial knowledge as preferred Strong knowledge of geospatial data management and analysis Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (eg HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) RESTful API development experience and Proficiency in Python programming Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL, HTML/CSS,Git) Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) would be an advantage Experience in web GIS development (Leaflet, Mapbox, Openlayers) Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (eg C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (eg Angular, React, Node js) Familiarity with databases such as PostGIS, SQL, PostgreSQL Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Suite (ArcPro, ArcMap) or QGIS for geospatial analysis Understanding of geospatial data formats (eg GeoJSON, Shapefiles, KML) and spatial analysis techniques Experience working in an agile development team Good problem-solving and communication skills APPLY How to apply To streamline our application process, we kindly request that all applicants use the designated apply button above for submitting their applications Please refrain from applying via email, phone, or LinkedIn Thank you for for renewable energy It is an essential part of our culture that we support each other, learn from each other, and celebrate each other's achievements Together, we make a real difference During the recruitment process, Blue Power Partners is processing all registered personal data in compliance with the European General Data Protection (GDPR), and we reserve the right to screen the SM accounts of potential candi
