What You ll Be Doing: In this position, you will engineer automation solutions that optimize IT infrastructure and operations and other central services by developing scalable infrastructure automation and developing reusable automation patterns between enterprise platforms. As a full-stack engineer, you ll ensure these projects provide value, functionality, and results.

What You Should Bring: - Experience in design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services, microservices, RESTful APIs and event-driven automation using languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java to integrate and automate between common IT systems and cloud platforms.
- Experience in front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Experience in design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, and containerization platforms .
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) (ex. ServiceNow) and scrum methodology (ex. Jira) and ability to apply this knowledge to automate common IT service requests, changes and incident resolutions, leading to higher self-serviceability and lower IT ticket volume.
- Consistent track record of high quality, agile focused, team-based solution delivery.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and ability to communicate and work closely with other teams, including cloud, infrastructure and platforms teams, to drive continuous infrastructure and IT service improvements.
- Proactive approach to create comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, automation scripts, and troubleshooting guides. Shown ability to deliver training to the support team as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development and automation including:
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java for backend development
- Proficiency in front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API development
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Familiarity with ITSM automation within ServiceNow and Jira
Good to have:
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Exposure to low-code automation platforms (Power Automate, IBM App Connect, Workato)
- Understanding of ITIL processes for request, change and incident management
