Job Summary:

FTTH Splicer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform

  fusion or mechanical splicing

  of fiber optic cables.
• Conduct

  OTDR, power meter, and light source testing

  to ensure proper installation and performance.
• Install and maintain

  fiber termination panels, splitters, ONT/OLT devices

  , and junction boxes.
• Identify and repair faults in FTTH networks using diagnostic tools.
• Ensure all work is done in compliance with

  safety and technical standards

  .
• Maintain accurate

  splicing and test documentation

  .
• Collaborate with the network design, operations, and support teams.
• Handle

  customer site fiber drop connections

  when needed.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in

  fiber splicing

  and FTTH deployment.
• Familiarity with

  OTDR, fusion splicer, power meter

  , and other fiber tools.
• Knowledge of

  GPON/EPON

  network architecture is a plus.
• Basic understanding of

  network routing and customer premises installation

  .
• Ability to read fiber layout plans and schematic diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications:

• 10th / 12th Pass, ITI/Diploma in Electronics or Telecom preferred.
• Minimum

  1–2 years of experience

  in fiber splicing (FTTH).
• Willingness to travel locally and work in the field.

Additional Requirements:

• Bike with valid license

  (for field travel).
• Flexible to work in extended hours or shifts if required.
