Frontend Lead - React.js/Javascript

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of complex, high-performance, and scalable web applications primarily using React.js.
• Leverage deep expertise in Core JavaScript, ES6+, and client-side architecture to build robust and maintainable frontend solutions.
• Apply a strong understanding of DOM manipulation, event-driven programming, Promises, and asynchronous operations to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Ensure seamless API integrations with backend services, optimizing for data flow and user experience.
• Proficiently apply HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles, and ensure cross-browser compatibility for a consistent user experience across devices and platforms.
• Utilize and advocate for modern frontend tools, bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite), and version control systems like Git.
• Provide demonstrated leadership in previous roles by actively mentoring junior and mid-level developers, taking ownership of significant codebases, and driving key technical decisions for the frontend team.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality products.
• Drive continuous improvement in code quality, performance, and best practices within the frontend team.
• Proactively identify and address technical challenges, advocating for optimal solutions and architectural improvements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Deep expertise in Core JavaScript, ES6+, and client-side architecture.
• Strong understanding of DOM, event-driven programming, Promises, async operations, and API integrations.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with modern frontend tools, bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite), and version control systems like Git.
• Demonstrated leadership in previous roles, including experience in mentoring developers, taking code ownership, and making significant technical decisions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
