Frontend Engineer (SDE -2)

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 2500000 (ie INR 15-25 LPA)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive, high-performance frontend applications for new products and improve the existing product suite.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build scalable, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions for new features and existing system enhancements.
• Take ownership of product features from concept to deployment, ensuring quality, documentation, and performance.
• Conduct code reviews, write technical documentation, and contribute to the evolution of frontend development best practices.
• Solve complex user-facing challenges with a deep understanding of user journeys and business context.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members, contributing to the growth and skill development of the frontend team.
  

Requirements:

• 2+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise in React.js and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design patterns.
• 2+ years of experience in system design or contributing to architecture, focusing on scalability and reliability.
• Familiarity with Redux or other state management libraries (Vue, Angular experience is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with bundling tools like Webpack or Vite.
• Exposure to libraries such as three.js, konva.js, or antd is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback effectively.
