Frontend Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join the Vaya Astrology team, focusing on building responsive web and mobile applications that deliver AI-powered astrology experiences. You will work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to create smooth, performant experiences that handle real-time conversations, data visualizations, and interactive astrological charts. Your work will directly impact how users interact with personalized astrology guidance on both web and mobile platforms. What You Will Do: Build responsive web applications using React and Next.js that work seamlessly across desktop and mobile Develop native mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms Implement real-time chat interfaces for AI-powered astrological conversations Create interactive data visualizations for birth charts, planetary positions, and astrological insights Optimize application performance to maintain <100ms response times and smooth animations Design and implement micro-interactions and animations that enhance user experience Ensure accessibility and cultural appropriateness across different user contexts Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces with attention to detail About You: 3+ years of experience in frontend development with React and React Native Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend tooling Experience building responsive designs that work across devices and screen sizes Hands-on experience with animation libraries (Framer Motion, React Native Reanimated, etc.) Track record of optimizing frontend performance and user experience Experience building real-time chat or messaging interfaces Understanding of mobile app deployment processes for iOS and Android About Anuvaya Labs We're building culturally attuned AI that understands India at its core – not just its languages, but its contexts, beliefs, and ways of thinking.
