As a Principal Frontend Developer (Angular) at Hyland Software, you will play a crucial role in developing complex code based on functional specifications across teams and programs. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining codebase, data design, and best practices with a focus on performance, security, reliability, and quality attributes. - Contributing to the architecture of the software and creating implementation standards and guidelines for projects. - Performing peer code review and analysis, providing insight on the broader impact of software changes. - Acting as an innovative thought leader and trusted advisor, contributing significantly to the growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching. - Identifying and articulating the business value and broader impact of software changes to stakeholders. - Designing, contributing to, and leading the implementation of delivery pipeline, including test automation, security, and performance. - Creating development standards to ensure compliance with product and industry practices and regulations. - Mentoring, coaching, training, and providing feedback to other team members. - Serving as an escalation point and subject matter expert for complex production issues or software code issues. - Contributing to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on best practices and market trends. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A good command of English. - A minimum of 7 years of experience in programming in Angular. - Experience with Typescript/Javascript. - Knowledge of Clean Coding, TDD, Object Orienting, SOLID, Relational Databases, CI/CD, Containerization. - Experience with Cloud and Microservice Architecture/SOA with a service bus pattern. - Nice to have: experience with GitHub Actions. - Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design. - Experience with continuous software delivery. - Demonstrated experience with build environments and delivery pipelines. - Experience with test automation and continuous integration tools. - Experience in software application testing tools, methodologies, and process framework. - Experience working with remote and international teams. - Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Good oral and written communications skills. - Good collaboration skills. - Technology curiosity and aptitude. - Ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners. - Self-motivation and project management skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Attention to detail and a drive to learn and stay current professionally.
