As a Frontend Developer specializing in Shopify and WordPress, your role will involve developing and optimizing eCommerce websites and content management systems to improve user experience and functionality. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and customizing Shopify themes and WordPress websites based on client requirements. - Converting Figma designs into fully responsive and pixel-perfect web pages. - Implementing interactive and dynamic UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. - Optimizing website performance for fast load times and smooth user experiences. - Customizing and extending Shopify/WordPress themes and plugins to meet project needs. - Debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing website issues and bugs. - Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of all developed pages. - Integrating third-party APIs, apps, and services into Shopify and WordPress websites. - Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in Frontend Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS. - Shopify Expertise: Liquid templating language, Shopify themes, Shopify CLI, and third-party app integrations. - WordPress Expertise: Theme customization, plugin development, WooCommerce, Gutenberg blocks, and Elementor/Divi/Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). - Experience with Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab. - Basic Knowledge of SEO Best Practices for frontend development. - Understanding of Web Performance Optimization Techniques. - Experience with Headless CMS. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Shopify Plus. - Familiarity with React.js, Vue.js, or other frontend frameworks. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL. - Understanding of PHP for WordPress development.
