Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and patient-focused Front Office Executive to manage reception activities, patient registration, billing, and deliver excellent customer service in the hospital. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, proficient computer knowledge, and the ability to interact with patients politely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients, attendants, and visitors at the reception.
  • Perform patient registration, OPD/IPD admission, and demographic data entry in the HIS/EMR system.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, doctor consultations, and queue coordination.
  • Handle billing activities: OPD billing, emergency billing, advance payments, IPD billing updates, and discharge billing support.
  • Guide patients regarding departments, diagnostic services, and process flow.
  • Maintain cash collection records, daily cash closing, and handover to accounts.
  • Answer phone calls, provide information, and route calls to appropriate departments.
  • Coordinate with nursing, doctors, lab, radiology, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
  • Verify patient documents (ID proof, insurance/TPA documents, referral letters).
  • Manage waiting area discipline, patient grievances, and escalate issues when required.
  • Maintain front office logs, registers, and daily MIS reports.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and comfort for patients in the reception area.

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline (BHM/MBA in Healthcare preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in hospital front office or customer service.
  • Good communication skills in English/Hindi (local language preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information System (HIS).
  • Pleasant personality, patience, and ability to handle pressure situations.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,163.89 - ₹26,822.35 per month
