Front Office Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
• Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
• Answer guest queries through phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments for room status updates.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when required.
• Maintain accurate guest records, billing, and folio posting.
• Process payments (cash, card, UPI, etc.) and issue receipts.
• Assist guests with information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
• Monitor the lobby area to ensure cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Follow standard operating procedures and hotel policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information at all times.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service attitude.
• Basic computer skills (PMS knowledge preferred).
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure during busy hours.
• Professional grooming and positive attitude.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Hotel Management or any discipline.
• Freshers or 0–2 years of experience in Front Office (hotel experience preferred).
• Knowledge of hotel software (IDS, Opera, or similar) is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
