The Travel Executive is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s global travel strategy. This role oversees travel policy, supplier partnerships, technology platforms, risk management, and sustainability initiatives. The Travel Executive ensures an efficient, safe, cost-effective, and traveler-centric program aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategy & Program Leadership Develop and lead the company’s global travel strategy in alignment with business goals. Oversee program governance, policy compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive adoption of modern travel technologies, including AI tools and automated workflows. 2. Vendor & Supplier Management Manage contract negotiations with airlines, hotels, ground transportation, TMCs, and technology partners. Evaluate performance using data insights, KPIs, and predictive analytics. Optimize supplier mix and pricing structures (e.g., dynamic pricing, NDC content). 3. Traveler Experience & Support Enhance the end-to-end traveler experience across booking, support, risk management, and reimbursement. Implement personalization frameworks powered by AI and traveler preference profiles. Drive communication, training, and engagement to ensure policy understanding. 4. Cost Optimization & Analytics Lead budgeting and forecasting for global travel spend. Leverage dashboards, benchmarking, and data models to identify savings opportunities. Collaborate with Finance to report ROI and travel program performance. 5. Duty of Care & Risk Management Ensure traveler safety through robust risk policies, crisis management plans, and real-time monitoring tools. Partner with HR, Legal, and Security teams to support compliance and incident response.
