typed REST clients (openapi-typescript) or axios wrapper

GitHub Actions + Vercel (preview deploys)

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain ZeroQue s multi-portal front-end with a shared design language.
Integrate with typed backend APIs (auth, catalog, pricing, billing, orders).
Develop and document reusable UI components and form systems with strong validation.
Create responsive, accessible experiences (WCAG 2.1 AA).
Embed observability hooks (Sentry, Web Vitals).
Write and maintain component and E2E tests to production standard.
Collaborate closely with the backend to align on payloads, versioning, and error semantics.
What Excellence Looks Like Code that is composable, typed, and self-documenting.
UIs that load fast, degrade gracefully, and feel effortless.
Pull requests that pass lint/tests, ship clean commits, and read like literature.
A natural instinct for balancing form and function beauty through clarity.

Job Requirement

Ideal Experience 5 + years of professional front-end development (React / TypeScript).
Proven experience delivering production SaaS or multi-tenant apps.
Strong grasp of state management, routing, and form validation patterns.
Practical fluency with CI/CD and component testing.
Experience collaborating with backend engineers on typed API integration.
Bonus: familiarity with Next.js App Router, Tailwind, or design system creation.

Initial Focus Area:

The new hire will begin with the Merchant Portal, as it s the most representative of our core SaaS logic (catalog, pricing, billing, subscriptions). Once that s stable, we ll expand to the Admin and End-Customer portals.

API Availability:

Typed API specs are being documented progressively most core endpoints (identity, catalog, billing, orders) already have OpenAPI definitions. The developer will consume typed clients (via openapi-typescript) and collaborate with Sourabh if any new endpoints are added.

Design System:

We ll be building the design system from scratch, but we already have a detailed component brief and token plan to guide consistency across all portals.
