We are hiring a Frontend Developer to build a design system because it’s the most strategic way to ensure consistency and efficiency across our digital services. This role isn’t just about writing code; it's about creating a single source of truth for our digital solutions. By building a robust, reusable design system, we will directly accelerate our development teams, allowing them to focus on new features instead of reinventing the wheel. The work done in this role will be the foundation that helps us scale, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality user experience as we grow.
What you will do
This is the primary responsibility. you will be spending a significant portion of their day writing high-quality, reusable code to build and refine the foundational components of the design system. This includes defining the system's architecture, creating scalable components, and integrating them with the broader application.
A key part of the role involves direct collaboration with product teams, UI/UX designers, and other engineers. The developer will take part of technical discussions, provide guidance on implementing the design system, and ensure that new features align with the system's standards.
To ensure the design system is truly usable, the developer will be assist in creating and maintaining clear, concise documentation for all components. This includes writing usage guidelines, API specifications, and examples. They will also handle bug fixes and system updates.
As a team member, this person will dedicate time to reviewing code from other frontend developers to ensure it meets quality standards and aligns with the design system. They will also mentor new developers, sharing knowledge and helping them.
You will be staying current with the latest frontend technologies and trends. This involves researching new tools, experimenting with new techniques, and identifying opportunities to improve the design system for future needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
